Centuries ago, enslaved people worked on a plantation that is now Pen Park in Charlottesville, Virginia. These men and women lived, died, and were likely buried there just outside the cemetery for the white family that enslaved them. A recent discovery of an unmarked graveyard at the park has historians searching for the names and stories of the people who lived there. So far, they've found one family.
